    A Hire Purchase is designed for business customers who use a vehicle wholly or predominately for business or investment purposes and who ultimately want to own the vehicle. Regular payments are made over the term the customer chooses. Full ownership of the vehicle is transferred to the customer when all payments have been made.

    An Asset Loan (commonly referred to as a Chattel Mortgage) is an instalment plan where customers gain immediate ownership and mortgage the vehicle to Daimler Truck Financial . The vehicle must be used wholly or predominately for business or investment purposes.

  • FINANCE LEASE

    A Finance Lease is a rental agreement offering fixed monthly payments for the period of the contract, with the addition of a residual value negotiated at the start of the term. With a Finance Lease, the ownership of the asset remains with Daimler Truck Financial , however the residual risk remains with the lessee. At the end of the lease agreement, the lessee can choose to either purchase or return the vehicle*.

  • OPERATING LEASE

    Your vehicle is leased to you for an agreed period. The monthly rental is calculated based on the total kilometres you wish to cover and the length of your lease agreement. To provide peace of mind you can also include a Freightliner Service Plan into your Operating Lease agreement, giving you the benefit of an all in one fixed monthly payment. With low initial outlay, maintenance cover and being able to hand back the vehicle at the end of the agreement, this funding option provides a hassle-free solution to running your vehicle
